Did you just signup?
Please follow steps 1-3 below to get full functionality. If you’re not using ZSentry in step 3 you’re missing the full picture!

1 ZSentry Usercode and Password
During signup, you created your ZSentry Password. Now, look in your Inbox for your ZSentry Usercode (six characters). These are your access codes, write both down and do not keep near your computer. We do not know or store your access codes.
For security reasons, you do not want your memory to become a single point of failure. Disregard opinions that say you should not write down your access codes. You alone should know both your Usercode and Password. If you did not receive your Usercode, check your INBOX and other folders. The email is sent from our zsentry.com email address. If you cannot find your Usercode and Password, touch Account Reset in ZSentry App»
2 ZSentry App
Touch ZSentry AppClick and bookmark and bookmark to your Home screen or desktop. Touch Login and enter your access codes (from step 1). You are now ready to send and receive secure email using the Web. There is no setup. Your secure emails will be received in your regular Inbox, as usual.

3 ZSentry Client
Final step. No need to login after setup. While logged in to ZSentry App (step 2), scroll to the bottom of the screen and in the Dashboard line, touch "Personalize" then "Save". This will authorize your account and send a [ZMAIL INFO] email to your Inbox, called PASS (not to confuse with the ZSentry Password). The PASS contains setup information for your device apps. There is no plugin or installation.
This is an optional step for increased utility, security, and integrated use with Cloud clients (eg, Gmail, Google Apps, Office 365, Yahoo, Zoho), Mail clients (eg, Outlook, MS Hosted Exchange on Office 365, Apple Mail), tablets and phones (eg, iPad, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Nokia). The PASS is sent without delay. If it seems to be taking too long to arrive, check your INBOX or other folder for a message from zsentry.com. You can also request again.
After you receive your PASS, choose an option below (you may use all):

4. How Can I Personalize ZSentry?
ZSentry provides a range of sender-defined choices for sending secure email, SMS, data storage, and other uses. The choices include Expiration Time (Self-Destruct), Return Receipt, Secure Vault, Mandatory Recipient Registration, and Mandatory Login. These are some of the different ways ZSentry can secure the message that you send or store:
  1. Default:  ZSentry is provided with a default HIPAA-compliant configuration that improves usability. The configuration is auditable, with access control by means of automatic mailbox and device authentication, login monitoring, and expiration control. It enables secure first-contact and reply (Secure Quick Reply) with verified recipient online identity, without requiring the recipient to register.  To enable Secure Quick Reply, the expiration is set by default to 15 days (and should not be more than 31 days). One common addition to this Default configuration is to add Secure Vault and Return Receipt (see below).
  2. Personalized: Users can personalize how ZSentry sends secure email and what is required from recipients. The choices are HIPAA-compliant with configuration options for access control, including mandatory recipient registration and (if desired) mandatory login, document control, delivery and tracking. After you personalize ZSentry you can save your configuration as the new Default (see below).
The Personalized choices are verified and set using the ZSentry Dashboard. Users' configuration profiles (Dashboard) are individually encrypted. To access the Dashboard, login using ZSentry App»  (bookmark the link for easy access) and look for the Dashboard / Delivery control at the bottom. When you are done, make sure you click Dashboard / Personalize to make it the active for the ZSentry Client and become the new default for ZSentry App.

For example, you can activate:
  • Secure Vault: sends back to you a non-expiring copy of your message, protected as a secure email with mandatory login (check the Bcc Me box in the To/Cc bar); and

  • Return Receipt: before your secure email is delivered, sends back to you an email with information on Who, Where, When, What and How it will be read (check the Return Receipt box in Dashboard > Tracking).
These choices are explained in the Dashboard section». To enable Secure Quick Reply, the default expiration is set to 15 days (and should not be more than 31 days).
