Zmail Works

This area is dedicated to developers and our Advanced Development Program. The objective of Zmail Works is to support developers in providing applications of Zmail and zsentry technologies, including beta testing of new developments at Zmail that are not yet publicly available. The development may be for exclusive internal use by the developer, or for commercial use.

The secure and private communication channel established by Zmail can also be used to directly provide a number of Zmail Applications (Zapp), such as secure voting with zvote, or bidding, payments, e-commerce, and access control functionality. Some of these Zmail Applications may have additional methods provided by Zmail and also by the customer.

Contact Us

If you are interested in beta testing or developing an application of Zmail, please send a Zmail to our Web Service address (pre-loaded in your Address Book), including a brief description of your project goals and Zmail interaction, or a Support Ticket for "Zmail Works" at the Support Center. We will contact you shortly.

Advanced Development Program

Available To Developers

The following applications of Zmail are in beta testing. This indicates that resources and code are already available for testing and implementation.

Zmail ID
Uses ZSentryID for user authentication. ZSentryID extends the security, cost, scalability and zero footprint benefits of the ZSentry two-factor user authentication technology to two-channel authentication with a dynamically generated, unpredictable, One-Time-Password (OTP). ZSentryID takes advantage of mobile phones and pagers, devices that users already have and know how to use, to send the OTP authentication code required from a user. For additional information, please read the ZSentryID Specification.

In Development

The following applications of Zmail are currently in development. This indicates that resources and code might be available sometime soon for testing and implementation.

Zmail Outlook — No Download, No Installation, and No Plugin
Zmail Outlook PluginEncrypt and send Zmail messages directly from Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, or any email program, securely using Zmail with a single click. Decrypt also with 1-click™. Works using NMA ZSEND™ technology, with No Download, No Installation, and No Plugin.

Zmail SAML
Uses SAML for user authentication or services. Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is an XML standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between security domains, that is, between an identity provider (zsentry or third-party) and a service provider (Zmail service or third-party). SAML is a product of the OASIS Security Services Technical Committee. The SAML application of Zmail is motivated by needs in web single sign-on (SSO).
